Lalique Perfume Bottles Database

Bottles from Past to Present

Lalique Signatures & Marks

As a rule all pre-war marks should include the R for Rene Lalique (except for Mark No.7)

All post-war marks omit the R, later marks are acid stamped Cristal Lalique.

Bottles after 1980 bear the Lalique®France signature.

Some bottles are also marked Creation Lalique, I believe this started in the post-war period.

Fake Lalique Signatures

If you see an item with the following markings...run the other way. These are not authentic Lalique signatures. These are generally found on brand new Czech perfume bottles. They are acid etched or inscribed with a diamond point by unscrupulous dealers. Buyer Beware!!

This signature is just dreadful, looks like it was molded into the design!

This next mark, I found on a new crystal perfume bottle made in China, it is unscrupulously signed Lalique on a font and style Lalique NEVER used.

Extremely fake mark often found on new Czech pieces

See how the font is slightly askew in these pictures?

The R doesnt even line up with Lalique

This was found on a satin glass powder box on ebay, definitely a fake signature.

Very crappy fake signature, looks like someone painted it on with a fake solution

The signature below doesn;t even say R. Lalique, It is a modern studio art glass piece signed and dated by its artist which I think is R. LeJaice and 1994.

Fake mark found on new Desna Czech bottle
